Four Drives a Year, Against a Service That Never Draws Your Blood
Twenty-seven minutes is a real drive and we are not going to pretend otherwise. So here is the honest arithmetic.
Once you are on a stable dose, TRT monitoring is quarterly. That is four visits a year. The alternative most Acworth men are weighing is an online service that mails testosterone after a questionnaire and never draws blood at all.
What the blood draw is for. Testosterone therapy raises haematocrit in some men, and that is the single most common reason a dose needs changing. You cannot detect it from how you feel. How It Works
You start with a free consultation covering your symptoms, your history and anything you are already taking. Blood is drawn here or at LabCorp, and we need a morning sample, because testosterone runs on a daily cycle and an afternoon reading can mislead. We confirm low testosterone on two separate morning draws before prescribing — that is the standard of care, and it is why you will not leave the first visit with a prescription.
If your labs confirm testosterone deficiency and treatment is appropriate, your provider builds a plan. We recheck at six weeks, then quarterly. Between those visits, check-ins can be handled by telehealth, which is how most Acworth patients prefer to work.
