If You’re Already Training, Read This First

Powder Springs sits on one of the best training corridors in the state. A lot of the men who ask us about testosterone are already lifting, already riding the Silver Comet, already doing most of the things you are supposed to do — and they are tired anyway, and recovery is not what it was.

That is exactly the profile where testosterone is worth measuring and also exactly the profile where it is most often not the answer. Hard training on insufficient sleep suppresses testosterone on its own. So does chronic underfuelling, so does untreated sleep apnoea, and so does the stress load most men in their forties are carrying.

So we measure before we prescribe, and sometimes the honest answer is that your numbers are fine. If that happens we will tell you, and we will talk about what is actually limiting your recovery. A clinic that sells only testosterone has no reason to have that conversation with you. We would rather have it at the free consultation than put you on a medication you will be taking for years.

If your labs do show a deficiency, you are in a good position — the training base is already there, and that is the part we cannot prescribe.

Getting Here From Powder Springs

The fastest route is Powder Springs Road SW to Ernest W. Barrett Parkway SW — about 18 minutes and 9.5 miles. If you would rather avoid Barrett, New MacLand Road to GA-360 East runs 19 minutes and 9.7 miles.

We are at 3451 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Ste 160, Marietta, GA 30064, in the plaza where Barrett Parkway meets Dallas Highway (GA-120), with The Home Depot immediately to our east and an IHOP in the same complex. Parking is free and surface-level, directly in front of the suite — no deck, no validation, no walk. Call (678) 919-4845. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Full directions and hours are on our clinic location page.

Driving from elsewhere in the area? We also have TRT pages for Kennesaw, Acworth and Dallas.

Not sure testosterone is the right route? Enclomiphene raises your own production instead and preserves fertility — worth reading if you may want children.

What You’ll Pay, and How Visits Work

$100 per month, covering your testosterone medication, provider visits, baseline and ongoing lab work, and dose adjustments. No consultation fee, no enrollment fee, no annual commitment. Our full price list is published.

Before comparing that to an online subscription, ask the other service two questions: what bloodwork costs on top of the monthly fee, and how often they repeat it. Ours is included, at six weeks and then quarterly.

We schedule by day, not by appointment time. You are booked for a day and you come in whenever suits you during opening hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. At 18 minutes out that is genuinely useful — you fit the visit around your day rather than the other way round.

Combining visits is common: medical weight loss, peptide therapy and IV therapy can all happen in the same trip.

How It Works

You start with a free consultation covering your symptoms, your training and sleep, your history and anything you are already taking. Blood is drawn here or at LabCorp, and we need a morning sample — testosterone runs on a daily cycle and an afternoon reading can mislead. We confirm low testosterone on two separate morning draws before prescribing. That is the standard of care, and it is why you will not leave the first visit with a prescription.

If your labs confirm testosterone deficiency and treatment is appropriate, your provider builds a plan. We recheck at six weeks, then quarterly, tracking testosterone along with haematocrit, oestradiol and, where appropriate, PSA. Rising haematocrit is the most common reason a dose needs changing and it cannot be felt — only measured.

Prescribing is by Jena Bryant, APRN, FNP-BC under nurse protocol agreement with our medical director, Kent Cohen, MD, FACEP.

Whether TRT helps, and by how much, varies between patients. Improvement in energy, mood, concentration, recovery or body composition is not guaranteed, and these symptoms can have causes unrelated to testosterone.
