What We Treat
Acworth patients come to us for four things, and most end up combining two of them.
- Medical Weight Loss — GLP-1 therapy with semaglutide or tirzepatide, dosed by a provider and adjusted monthly based on your scan, not a chart.
- Testosterone Replacement Therapy — bloodwork first, then a protocol built around your numbers and symptoms. Ongoing monitoring included.
- Hormone Therapy — for men and women, including perimenopause and menopause support, pellets, and compounded options.
- IV Therapy — hydration, recovery, and nutrient drips, walk-in or scheduled.

Also for Acworth patients: testosterone replacement therapy, $100/month and hormone therapy for women, from $80/month.
Getting Here from Acworth
We’re at 3451 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Ste 160, Marietta, GA 30064, in the plaza where Barrett Parkway meets Dallas Highway. The Home Depot is immediately to our east and there’s an IHOP in the same complex. Call (678) 919-4845. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The fastest route is Stilesboro Road NW — about 27 minutes and 13.1 miles. Acworth Due West Road runs the same distance in about 28 minutes. I-75 south is 27 minutes but 16.6 miles, so it only wins if Stilesboro is backed up.
We’ll say the quiet part out loud: that’s a real drive. It’s why we structure Acworth plans around telehealth with one in-person visit a month, rather than pretending the distance doesn’t matter.
Parking is free and surface-level, directly in front of the suite. No deck, no validation.
What You’ll Pay
Pricing is posted because we’d rather you know before you drive out.
- Semaglutide — from $199/month
- Tirzepatide — from $249/month
- Consultation — free
- InBody scans — included, every visit
No membership fee, no enrollment fee, no annual contract. We don’t bill insurance for weight loss medication; most Georgia plans don’t cover it, and we’d rather keep the price low than chase a denial.

How Acworth Patients Actually Use Us
Twenty-seven minutes each way is forty-five minutes of your day, round trip. We don’t ask you to spend it every week.
One visit a month, everything else remote. Dose adjustments, side effect check-ins, refills, and questions happen by telehealth. The monthly visit exists for one reason: the InBody scan.
Why that one visit isn’t negotiable. Lose weight fast enough and some of what leaves is muscle, not fat — and the scale reports both as a win. The scan separates the two, and it’s what tells us whether to hold your dose, raise it, or add protein and resistance training before touching the medication at all. There’s no remote substitute — a bathroom scale and a photo can’t tell us what you lost.
Built for people who are already moving. Acworth has better outdoor access than most of Cobb. Cauble Park on Lake Acworth runs 25 acres with a boardwalk, beach, and trails out to Collins Circle and Winn Street. Plenty of our Acworth patients are walking, paddling, or lifting through their program, and preserving the muscle you’ve built is something we plan around rather than discover later.
We’ll batch your visit. If you want labs, an IV, or a hormone follow-up, we schedule them against your monthly scan so it’s one trip, not three.
How It Works
1. Free consultation. You meet a provider — not a coordinator. We review your history, your goals, and what you’ve already tried. This one can be done by telehealth.
2. Labs and InBody. Your first in-person visit. We measure where you’re starting from, including lean mass, not just total weight.
3. Your plan. If medication is appropriate, you leave with a prescription and a dosing schedule. Most patients start within a week.
4. Monthly check-in. One short visit for the scan, everything else remote.
Who You’ll See
Every plan at Balanced Bodies is written by a licensed provider and reviewed at each visit. You see the same team each month — there’s no rotating roster and no handoff to a coach.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. Compounded versions are not FDA-approved and are not generic equivalents of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound.
Meet the providers who’ll be managing your care.

About 27 minutes and 13.1 miles, with Stilesboro Road NW the most direct route. Acworth Due West Road is roughly the same. We’re in the plaza at Barrett Parkway and Dallas Highway, next to Home Depot, with free surface parking in front of the suite.
Once a month, yes. Everything else — dose changes, side effect check-ins, refills, questions — we handle by telehealth. The monthly visit is for the InBody body composition scan, which is the single measurement that drives your dosing. Without it we’d be adjusting your medication based on scale weight alone, which can’t tell the difference between losing fat and losing muscle. If one month you truly can’t make it, tell us and we’ll work around it — but we won’t pretend remote-only is equivalent care.
Semaglutide starts at $199 per month and tirzepatide at $249 per month. That includes your medication, your provider visits, and your InBody scans. The consultation is free. There’s no membership fee, no enrollment fee, and no annual contract. Higher doses cost more, and we’ll give you the exact figure before you move up.
We don’t bill insurance for weight loss medication. Most Georgia plans either exclude GLP-1s for weight loss or require a prior authorization that gets denied. Our cash price is usually lower than what patients pay out of pocket after a denial, and you’ll know the number before you start.
Two reasons, usually. First, you see a licensed provider who reviews your labs — not a coordinator working from a questionnaire. Second, dosing here is driven by what your monthly scan shows, so the plan changes when your body does instead of following a fixed escalation schedule. If a previous program stalled, plateaued, or left you feeling worse than when you started, bring what you were taking and at what dose to your consult. It’s free, and it tells us a lot about where to start.
Yes, and for Acworth patients we recommend it — we’ll schedule them against your monthly scan so it’s one trip instead of three. Hormone optimization in particular tends to pair well with weight loss, since low testosterone or thyroid issues can be part of why the weight stopped moving. Your provider will tell you if labs suggest that’s worth looking at.
