What We Treat
Powder Springs patients come to us for four things, and most end up combining two of them.
- Medical Weight Loss — GLP-1 therapy with semaglutide or tirzepatide, dosed by a provider and adjusted monthly based on your scan, not a chart.
- Testosterone Replacement Therapy — bloodwork first, then a protocol built around your numbers and symptoms. Ongoing monitoring included.
- Hormone Therapy for Women — perimenopause and menopause support, including creams, injections, patches and compounded options.
- IV Therapy — hydration, recovery, and nutrient drips, walk-in or scheduled.
Not sure which one you need? That’s what the consult is for. We’ll look at labs and body composition before recommending anything.
Also for Powder Springs patients: testosterone replacement therapy, $100/month and hormone therapy for women, from $80/month.

Why Powder Springs Patients Drive to Marietta
There are closer options. Most Powder Springs patients pass two or three retail med spas on Macland Road before they get to us, and a few have already tried one. What changes here is who writes the plan and what it’s based on.
A provider, not a coordinator. Your dose is set by a licensed clinician who has seen your labs and your body composition scan. Nobody at Balanced Bodies sells you a package and hands you off.
Body composition, not just scale weight. Rapid weight loss on a GLP-1 costs you lean mass as well as fat if nobody is watching for it. The InBody scan at each visit separates the two, and that’s what tells us whether to hold your dose, raise it, or add protein and resistance training before we touch the medication at all.
Built for people who are already active. Powder Springs sits on one of the best training corridors in the state — the Silver Comet Linear Park trailhead on Richard D. Sailors Parkway puts you on paved trail at about mile 9.5, with parking, restrooms and a circuit area. Plenty of our Powder Springs patients are riding, running or lifting through their program. Preserving the muscle you’ve built is a goal we plan around, not an afterthought.
What You’ll Pay
Pricing is posted because we’d rather you know before you book.
- Semaglutide — from $199/month
- Tirzepatide — from $249/month
- Initial consultation — included with your first month
- InBody scans — included, every visit
No membership fee, no enrollment fee, no annual contract. We don’t bill insurance for weight loss medication; most plans in Georgia don’t cover it, and we’d rather keep the price low than chase a denial.
How It Works
1. Consultation. You meet a provider — not a coordinator. We review your history, your goals, and what you’ve already tried.
2. Labs and InBody. We measure where you’re starting from, including lean mass, not just total weight.
3. Your plan. If medication is appropriate, you leave with a prescription and a dosing schedule. Most patients start within a week.
4. Monthly check-ins. We adjust based on your scan and how you’re actually feeling.
Who You’ll See
Every plan at Balanced Bodies is written by a licensed provider and reviewed at each visit. You see the same team each month — there’s no rotating roster and no handoff to a coach.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. Compounded versions are not FDA-approved and are not generic equivalents of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound.
Meet the providers who’ll be managing your care.

About 18 minutes and 9.5 miles. The most direct route is Powder Springs Road SW to Ernest W. Barrett Parkway SW. We’re in the plaza at Barrett Parkway and Dallas Highway, next to Home Depot, with free surface parking in front of the suite.
We offer telehealth, and some visits can be handled remotely. But we ask Powder Springs patients to come in at least once a month for an InBody scan so we can see whether you’re losing fat or losing muscle. That single measurement is what drives the dosing decision — without it we’d be guessing, and at 18 minutes away it’s a short trip.
Semaglutide starts at $199 per month and tirzepatide at $249 per month. That price includes your medication, your provider visits, and your InBody scans. There’s no membership fee, no enrollment fee, and no annual contract. Higher doses cost more; we’ll tell you the exact figure before you move up.
We don’t bill insurance for weight loss medication. Most Georgia plans either exclude GLP-1s for weight loss or require a prior authorization that gets denied. Our cash price is usually lower than what patients pay out of pocket after a denial, and you’ll know the number before you start.
It can if nobody is monitoring it. GLP-1 medications reduce appetite, and if your calories drop far enough your body starts pulling from lean mass as well as fat — which shows up as flat legs and slower recovery before it shows up on the scale. We track it directly with a monthly InBody scan. If lean mass is trending down, we adjust the plan: protein targets first, resistance training second, dose changes last. Most active patients train through the program without losing performance, but it takes measurement, not guesswork.
Two reasons, usually. First, you see a licensed provider who reviews your labs — not a coordinator working from a questionnaire. Second, dosing here is driven by what your monthly scan shows, so the plan changes when your body does instead of following a fixed escalation schedule. If a previous program stalled, plateaued, or left you feeling worse than when you started, bring what you were taking and at what dose to your consult. It’s free, and it tells us a lot about where to start.
